We are an Australian based team of volunteers. Our goal is to provide safe, affordable housing for people who are homeless or at risk. The Homeless Project is registered with ASIC and ACNC – (Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission) which is the governing body for registered charities in Australia. Our mandate is that 100% of all donations are delivered to the cause. The founders of this charity use their own personal savings to cover any admin, marketing, miscellaneous costs that the charity may incur.
The Homeless Project has been set up by 3 people who work full time in the field of homelessness. Our names are Grant Demoitie, Stuart Allen and Richard Casley. We believe that safe, affordable accommodation is a crucial step to acquiring work skills, stable employment and competent life management. We donate our time free of charge to The Homeless Project Ltd and we raise funds to design and construct dignified, purpose built wheelchair compliant dwellings for people who are homeless or at risk.
